Our Story

We believe technology can also create real moments.

PoolMind8 was born from two people, many ideas, and the desire to create something that truly made sense.

We are Gabriela and Daniel. And, curiously, we didn't start out knowing exactly what our path would be.

Until a seemingly simple question changed everything:

"Could you make a tambourine on a phone?"

You could.

But reproducing the sounds of a tambourine wasn't enough. We wanted anyone to be able to have fun with it — even without ever having learned to play.

That's how our first Pocket Instrument was born.

Then came the cuíca. New instruments came. New ideas came. And we realized we had found what we wanted to build.

Music made to fit in your pocket and into people's lives.

Not to replace real instruments. Not to turn everyone into a musician.

But to play, to jam, to sing, to smile, and above all, to do something together.

Technology is part of our lives. We believe it can also be used to create shared experiences and bring people closer together.

That's what we look for in every Pocket Instrument we create: making music accessible, fun, and capable of creating moments worth remembering.
